Job quick facts

  • 3 years of experience required
  • Phone provided, stipend for housing and car
  • Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
  • On call is approximately 1 weeknight every 2 weeks and once every 10 - 12 weekends
  • New and follow-up appointments account for approximately 60% of time
  • Some urgent work is also scheduled
  • Majority of patients have schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or depression

Description

The North Island of New Zealand is known for its volcanic activity, national parks, and cosmopolitan cities. Surrounded by bays and islands, it is known as “the City of Sails.” At its southern tip is Wellington, the harbourside capital, home to the national museum, Te Papa.
