Finding the right physician starts with a thorough vetting process to evaluate the personal, professional, and cultural fit. Our expertise continues with licensing, credentialing, travel, and housing. Simply put, if there’s a complex or painful task, we’ll help do the heavy lifting.

And our international experience makes us even better at filling difficult or urgent U.S. assignments.

A little more light reading:

First, we ask you to complete a practice description summarizing the details of the position. Next, we begin our search for candidates who meet your requirements, send you their CVs, and you make your selection(s). We then set up a call or interview with each physician so you can trade questions and answers. Following that, you determine if a candidate is right for you. If not, we continue our search.
Typically your practice or facility will pay about the same amount you'd pay for a permanent candidate. But we also understand there's no single solution for every facility, so we work to accommodate your needs. WIth a little input, one of our client representatives can give you a detailed answer.
We provide locums physicians to meet any timeframe as short as a weekend or as long as a few years. Overseas assignments average between six months and a year.
We recruit exceptional doctors from North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and similar parts of the world. We place in most specialties and have a pool of over 100,000 thoroughly-vetted physicians. All are licensed and in good standing in their country, maintain a good malpractice claims history, and come with excellent references. And we only recruit doctors who fit the registration or licensing requirements of the country and facility where they'll work.
For some jobs in the U.S., we can put a physician to work in a matter of weeks, but it typically takes a month or two (depending on facility credentialing and privileging time frames). International positions depend on your country's requirements. Registration and immigration can take six months in places like Canada and Australia. New Zealand is typically four months.
That'd be us. We coordinate the credentialing, registration/licensing, and, where applicable, the immigration process with you and the doctor. And with our experience, we do it as efficiently as it can be done. We also book and manage the physician's travel.
Facilities use locum tenens to cover vacations, medical leaves, seasonal fluctuations, and staffing gaps. For private facilities it's also a great way to maintain revenue.
