  • Schedule: 8 am – 4:30 pm — weekends required
  • ~50 studies/day plus 4 – 6 IR procedures/day
  • Surgical, medical, ICU, and OB case types
  • Predominantly non-complex IR procedures
  • Percutaneous biopsies, drains, aspirations — tunneled access infrequent
  • Thoracentesis, paracentesis, nephrostomy tubes, chest tubes required
  • Biopsy skills required — thyroid, lung, and other
  • CTs: 12 – 15, X-rays: 15 – 20, ultrasounds: 8 – 12 daily
