The beach at Salt Pond is said to be less crowded than many of the Caribbean’s other stretches of sand, as it is a bit of a hike to get to. However, not having to battle tourists for a spot in the sand is sure to be appealing to locum tenens who are looking to get away from their work responsibilities. The beach is also a great place for you to work on your tan, as there is little shade to be found.
In addition to swimming through the area’s clear water, you can find great snorkeling conditions in the middle of the bay. You may even spot a few sea turtles as you appreciate life under the waters of Salt Pond.
