Take in the beauty of Tasmania at Russell Falls

Dozens of renowned waterfalls exist within the tropical landscape of Australia, but only a select few provide the most beautiful views in the entire country. Russell Falls in Tasmania is a triple-tiered waterfall that makes other cascading falls look mediocre with all of its grandeur. When you take a medical job in Australia, you can check out this stunning waterfall in one of the Land Down Under's most magnificent wild spaces, Mt. Field National Park.

The massive cliff that makes these rushing waters possible is only a 10-minute trek from the park's visitors center. On your way to the natural wonder, you'll find some of the world's tallest hardwood trees towering over you, only adding to the drama of this gigantic waterfall.

"This unusual, angled view of the dramatic…Russell Falls has become quite famous, appearing in National Geographic and several other international magazines," photographer Ken Duncan told Australian Traveller of his moment caught on film. "I had to balance out on a tree limb to capture [it]."

After getting a view of the falls, you can venture to find the park's other natural attractions, such as the wondrous Lake Dobson, an area that is also popular for the ski slopes surrounding it.
