Fly through the trees in Wellington's Adrenalin Forest

Many people take a locum tenens assignment in Aotearoa in search of action and adventure. While there are plenty of exciting activities scattered throughout the region, Wellington's Adrenalin Forest is among the best for those seeking a heart-thumping, adrenaline-surging adventure.

Nestled in the tops of Wellington's trees, visitors can spot obstacle courses that include rope bridges, flying foxes and Tarzan swings, some sitting over 98 feet (30 m) in the air. Adrenalin Forest features seven of these treetop pathways, which range in difficulty and height.

For the more faint of heart, the best place to start is the Discovery course, where guests can make their way through 10 challenges that are about 9 feet (3 m) off the forest floor. While this pathway might be ideal for newbies, true adventure seekers can head to Pathway 6, otherwise known as Adrenaline Max.

Featuring 19 challenges close to 100 feet (31 m) off the ground, this course promises to live up to its name and provide visitors with the ultimate Kiwi thrill. Although each obstacle in the course is sure to get the adrenaline pumping, the challenge many guests rave about is the famous 328-foot (100-m) flying fox, or zip-line. Now if that doesn't get your heart pounding, nothing will.
