Swim with the turtles in the Caribbean

When you are on locum assignment in the Caribbean, you have the opportunity to spend a day swimming with the turtles at the Cayman Islands Turtle Farm.

While you may see the occasional turtle during your stay on one of the Caribbean islands, the farm is a great place to spend time with these gentle creatures and other local wildlife in an interactive setting. Here, you will encounter some turtles that weigh over 600 pounds.

If you prefer to live like a turtle, you can dive underwater for a snorkeling experience at Turtle Lagoon. Below the surface you will swim alongside yearling green sea turtles and other marine life, as you look for sunken treasure and appreciate beautiful Caribbean coral. This area also features small islands that are home to peacocks and iguanas.

For you locum tenens who only want to get your hands wet, the farm offers touch tanks where anybody can reach out and feel a variety of different turtle species.

This attraction is also home to the Caribbean Aviary, which contains a selection of local and exotic birds.
