If you're not a golfer you still might want to pay attention because surrounding these golf courses is an immense amount of beauty virtually unseen anywhere else. It's possible you'll even pick up some clubs after reading this; these courses are just that stunning.

Cape Kidnappers Golf Course

Golf architecture is truly an art all its own and Tom Doak is one of the foremost architects. In fact, he has four courses currently ranked among the "Top 100 Courses in the World" according to Golf Magazine, Cape Kidnappers Golf Course being one of them. With frequent towering, cliffside views of the sea, this course is often hailed as one of the most beautiful in the world.

Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club

Tough to pronounce for us out-of-towners for sure, but that doesn't detract from this course's utterly inescapable, awe-inspiring beauty. Many of the greats have played here: Tiger Woods, Gary Player and Alex Russell. In fact, Alex Russell himself designed this course back in 1949.

Jack's Point Golf

This course on the South Island is fringed by the Remarkables, a mountain range so aptly named because they are just that, remarkable. Leagues of tussock grasslands and steep bluffs surround this perfectly carved-out course. About 20 minutes from New Zealand's prime city for adventure, Queenstown, you won't be disappointed one bit by the views or the play of this astounding course.
