Canter along the coast of a Caribbean island

Think back to the last postcard you received. The immaculate beach against the orange hues of the setting sun is the perfect backdrop for time spent in the Caribbean. Adventurous locum tenens can partake in some equine activities along the white sands of the Caribbean and create their own perfectly picturesque moment.

Many people have tried horseback riding back home, but it is quite a different experience when you are in such a colorful and vibrant place as the Caribbean. With thousands of islands located in this area, there is no shortage of venues where doctors and their families can go to begin their excursion.

Beginners, or those who are a bit rusty, can visit a local riding school, which offers lessons on proper technique and basic safety skills. Once they feel more comfortable with being in charge of the reins, the family can head over to the stables to test out their riding chops. Each property has multiple trails corresponding to levels of difficulty in order to provide the most comfortable and rewarding experience possible.

Horseback riders can also visit a nearby corral, where they can canter along the pristine sands of the peaceful beach as they gaze out into the turquoise waters of the bay.
