Snow Day Food Truck

Snow Day is reminiscent of Buddy the Elf thanks to its maple syrup-themed food selection, which is made of ingredients sourced locally. It serves up delectable menu items like a maple cheddar grilled sandwich and bacon and pesto brie pancake poppers, but this New York City food truck's cause is as just as enticing as its maple treats. Powered by non-profit organization Drive Change, the truck hires and trains once-incarcerated young adults.

The Eddie's Pizza Truck

The New York City food scene isn't complete without its famous paper-thin pizza, and this food truck doesn't disappoint. Known for their "bar pies," pizza that's just the right size to polish off with a few brews, Eddie's has its devotees vote on the daily pizza special.

Yvonne's Jamaican

There aren't many U.S. cities boasting Caribbean food trucks, but New York City has got an impressive one stationed on the Upper East Side. Prepare yourself for fare like oxtails, fried whiting and ginger beer to wash it all down.

Asia Dog

These guys set out on a mission to celebrate New York City's diversity, and celebrate that diversity they did. An Asia Dog is a hot dog topped with Asian ingredients like seaweed flakes, pork belly, pickled daikon and kimchi, combining several of the city's favorite street foods into one delectable hybrid.

New York City has countless other food trucks, all of which merit at least one lunch-break visit. Luckily, NYC is a place where you'll find a food truck on every corner in any cuisine you can think of. And if you get confused? There's an app for that.
