Go camping and tramping in the Land of the Long White Cloud

A country with a name like the Land of the Long White Cloud is bound to have some of the best camping terrain in the world. When you take a medical job in New Zealand, find some time to rest under the stars at one of these stunning locations throughout the Aotearoa landscape.

McKee Memorial Reserve: Situated at the northern tip of the South Island, this campground is along Tasman Bay and is an ideal place to spend an overnight adventure. One local, Harriet Melton, told the New Zealand Herald that the site was a favorite because it's cheap and the views of its coastal forest are unbelievable.

Tapotupotu Bay: This territory is a short distance from Cape Reinga and one of the northernmost campsites in the country. No matter how much time you spend here, you'll never grow tired of the views of expansive forests, crashing waves and towering green mountains in the distance. You can spend all day swimming and the entire evening watching the tide roll in from the North Island bay.
