Australia is a land that features a wealth of natural attractions that you'll definitely want to check out while on locum assignment Down Under. While urban centers like Darwin may have all the modern amenities you'd expect from major cities, the burg also boasts a massive nature park that'll allow you to get up close and personal with
some of the local wildlife.
At the Territory Wildlife Park guests can explore three distinct ecosystems including wetlands, the monsoon vine forest and woodlands. Each features its own collection of plant and animal life, and visitors will have the chance to interact with everything from saltwater crocodiles to large owls.
The park also regularly hosts a number of events that are perfect for the whole family, including morning and afternoon teas, birthday parties and a challenging and educational competition known as the Amazing Territory Wildlife Park Race, which will take students and families through all of the park's exhibits and displays.
You can even enroll the little ones in the park's onsite summer camp, which will teach them about the plants, animals and habitats found throughout the facility.
