Visit the Otorohanga Kiwi House & Native Bird Park and you'll see a whole slew of other birds, too. When you take a stroll through this attraction's dome aviary, some of New Zealand's most unique birds will be seen soaring overhead.
In addition to the North Island brown kiwi and great spotted kiwi, a visit to the park will allow you to see various birds that are native to the country, such as the New Zealand falcon, the brown teal, the black stilt and the kea. While the Kiwi House is a bird house, it is also home to other animals, including the tuatara, a reptile that pre-dated the dinosaurs.
