Swim in gorgeous gorges from Broome to Derby, Australia

When you visit Western Australia during your explorations of the wilderness regions, you can't pass up a scenic drive along Gibb River Road. Straight through the heart of Aussie wildlife, this route is accessible for anyone to enjoy, and can be the perfect opportunity to view the diverse landscapes of the Outback when you take a medical job in Australia.

Massive gorges, rock pools and cascading waterfalls are only a few of the wonders you'll find during your drive through this natural world, as the long and winding road will take you all the way from Broome to Derby along the northern coast of the Western region.

Be sure to pack your bathing suit, because one of the most exhilarating parts of the journey is stopping at the various swimming holes along the way, where you'll likely find other locals and curious visitors enjoying the same outdoor pleasures.

Bell Gorge, arguably the most famous landmark of its kind in all of Kimberley, can be easily reached after a short walk along Bell Creek. Flat, large rocks surround both sides of the cliff, making it ideal for taking a seat, sunbathing or hopping off into the cool waters below.

If you'd rather find a more secret destination, try the Adcock or Galvans gorges. The former is stunning under the afternoon sun and the latter has a rope swing hanging from the lush trees surrounding the waterfall.
