Visit the Natural Bridge of Springbrook National Park

During a visit to Springbrook National Park, locum tenens in Australia can see a wide range of breathtaking attractions, including a spectacular cave known as the Natural Bridge.

Located in the Gold Coast region of Queensland, Springbrook is part of the larger "Gondwana Rainforests of Australia" UNESCO World Heritage Site. It covers a diverse variety of mountainous terrain, including the remnants of the northern rim of a massive and ancient volcano.

Popular activities in the park include picnicking, hiking and looking at animals such as the ringtail possum, sugar glider, yellow-tailed black cockatoo, lace monitors, koalas and more. The park is also home to rare butterflies, blue crayfish and frogs.

The best-known feature at Springbrook, however, is the Natural Bridge. This attraction was formed when a waterfall eroded through the ceiling of a cavern to fall into Cave Creek, creating a rock arch across the waterway. Moreover, the cave is home to many glowworms, and commercial operators run tours through the area at night so travelers can better appreciate the insects' ethereal light.
